Bravo Passenger Solutions is excited to announce that its newest customer – Eastern Airways – has successfully gone live on July 8 with sales over Amadeus GDS. Taking advantage of the integrated e-ticket database and seamless Type A and Type B links between Bravo’s Avantik PSS and Amadeus, Eastern Airways has restored its presence in GDS. This move enables this UK-based regional airline to grow its sales, at the same time diversifying their distribution channels. Eastern Airways becomes the fifth Bravo customer currently using the Amadeus direct GDS connection.
Tim Horwood, Head of Commercial Systems for Eastern Airways, said “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Amadeus as we continue our growth strategy, particularly as the industry strives to recover during challenging times. The support and dedication shown by all parties in bringing this distribution project to fruition has been fundamental to Eastern Airways being able to serve agencies again so quickly.”
Formed in 1997, Eastern Airways operates a network of routes from airports including Aberdeen, Alicante, Anglesey, Belfast City, Cardiff, Dublin, Humberside, Isle of Man, Leeds Bradford, London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Newquay, Southampton and Teesside International. The airline also specialises in providing customer-focused charter services for the oil and gas industry, corporate and sports contracts and ad-hoc charters.
