Global Distribution

Many airlines use different global distribution systems and Bravo have ensured the system can be integrated with all major GDS and other airline CRS systems which include:

  • Amadeus
  • Abacus
  • Axess
  • Galileo
  • Worldspan
  • Infini
  • Sabre
  • Topas
  • Travelsky

This integration takes place using standard IATA messaging based on Type B and Type A. Type A is based on HTH MATIP. Avantik fully supports Direct Access (PAOREQ/RES), Direct Sell (ITAREQ/RES, HWPREQ/RES) and GDS e-ticketing (TKTREQ/RES) and standard AIRIMP Type B messaging with the following GDSs and CRSs:

Bookings received through Type A or B from external systems such as GDS and CRS, are treated the same way as a booking created in Avantik. Sender and owner Information provided by the third party system are kept in the booking header and available to the user. Changes made to those bookings are identified and queued onto a post processor queue which decides if and what type of information needs to be communicated back to the ‘owner’ of the booking.

Codeshare

Bravo system supports operating code shares with an unlimited number of marketing carrier flight numbers and marketing codeshare agreements. This is on flights operated by partner carriers as well as allowing for both blocked space and free sales codeshares which support IATA codeshare options 2 and 4.

Interline

Inbound interline e-ticketing is supported by the Bravo passenger service system – the other carrier being the issuing carrier. All IATA EDIFACT messaging, including processing of TKNE SSRs, e-Ticket Status Changes.
